Miller Family

I had the pleasure of meeting this family several weeks when I took the entire extended family's pictures. Baby Josiah had not been born yet, so this past week I drove all the way to their house to do family pictures again. (They live two houses down from me!!!) Sweet little Josiah was a little fussy, but he finally settled down and we got some sweet pictures. Such a precious family.

Alex's Maternity Shoot

I had the privilege and honor to take Alex's maternity photos. I meet Alex when she was a bridesmaid in Mattie's wedding, and it was so much fun to meet up with Mattie and Alex for this special time in her life. Alex's husband is in Afghanistan serving our country, but we were able to work him into the photo shoot. Her baby is due in January and her husband won't be home until April. These men and women sacrifice so much in serving our country. God bless our troops and their families.

Gabrielle

I had the pleasure of taking Gabrielle's pictures with her family about two years ago. Today I able to focus on just Gabrielle for her senior pictures. She is such a natural beauty. I loved our time together, she is such a sweet young woman. She's planning on a major in theater, and she told me about a script she is working on that sounds amazing!!! I won't give out any of the details, but it's got such a sweet Christian moral to the story. My time spent with her was so uplifting. Jeremiah 29:11 I know God has wonderful plans for this young lady.

Cooper

I had the pleasure of taking Cooper's one year old pictures. He brought along his mom and dad for some shots too. We met for our shoot, and poor Cooper hadn't had a nap, so he was not a happy camper. So we took a few shots and then meet again another afternoon, and Cooper was in a much better mood. Plenty of smiles!!! We had a great time.

Robyn and Steven Engagement Shoot

I’ve never been arrested during a photo shoot, actually I’ve never been arrested for anything, but my engagement session with Robyn and Steven is the closest I’ve ever come to being arrested. The shoot started out a little rough. Robyn and Steven wanted pictures with their dogs, but the dogs had other ideas. After the dogs left it went a lot easier, the couple followed directions much better than the dogs. Then we headed over to the railroad tracks to get some shots. Here’s where the police come into the pictures. As we were taking pictures, the police pulled up with his flashing lights and told us we were trespassing. Well, I had already asked permission with the city of Brookside police if we could do this, but this was the railroad police!!! I never knew there were railroad police!! Luckily we got off with just a warning, and even more importantly, I got the shot I wanted!!
