Gage and Drake
I adore little boys!!!! Maybe it's because I have two boys of my own, but they are just so much fun. These guys were all boy!!! We started out in my yard, my husband got the tire swing down out of the tree so they could play on it. It brought back sweet memories. Then we headed over to the barn and enjoyed the frogs singing to us as the sun set.

Kaleigh Senior Portraits
Kaleigh and I had so much fun during her senior photo shoot. Kaleigh is an artist and she had some ideas for some of her pictures, and I was happy to oblige. I knew we had to go to my favorite field for the shots with her painting, and I think they turned out great. She brought the cute umbrella, and I want one just like it!!! I enjoyed getting to know Kaleigh better and I know her future is bright with possibilities. Jeremiah 29:11

Melissa and Jason's Wedding
Pleasant Grove was the setting for the wedding of Melissa and Jason. There was so much tornado damage to this beautiful little city, but luckily there was no damage to the church where Melissa and Jason exchanged their vows. It was a beautiful day for a wedding, and this couple was so much fun. They were so laid back and the entire day was filled with joy and love. I just love weddings!!!

Brett and Karlie
I first met Brett and Karlie when I took their engagement pictures, and I couldn't wait for the wedding day. It was just like them---special. They are such a sweet Christian couple and so in love. When I first met them, we went to one of my favorites spots to photograph, an old Mac truck on the side of the road. We got some great engagement pictures there, and so we thought it fitting to end their wedding day with "Old Blue."

The Gohn Family
I love surprises, and this family gave me a great one. The client called to set up a family session before her baby brother left for the Navy. The day of the shoot they arrived and her baby brother, Morgan, was one of my former students!!!! He was precious when he was in fourth grade and I couldn't be more proud of him. I also had his beautiful cousin, Kayla in fourth grade. Surprises are so much fun.

I'm not old enough to have been his 4th grade teacher!!!

Sisters
Alaina and Elizabeth are my brother-in-law's nieces, so I guess they are my niece-in-laws. I met up with them at the beautiful Birmingham Botanical Gardens for a phootshoot. Can you believe they are sisters? They look so different to me, they are both beautiful, in completely different ways.
