Corey and Miranda

Guntersville State Park was the setting for Corey and Miranda's beautiful outdoor wedding. The bride and groom and the entire wedding party was so much fun!!!! I want to hire Crissy, one of the bridesmaids to be my assistant!! When you have such sweet people like this to spend the day with, it doesn't feel like work, even in the hot, humid, sweltering summer.

Sarah Senior Pictures

I took Sarah to one of my "new" favorite places, Brookside Greenway. There's a creek, beautiful open fields, a baseball field, railroad track, an old building, an old gas station, all close to each other. We got a bunch of different looks and had soooo much fun!!!

Lindsey's Senior Portraits

"Life is full of people who will make you laugh, cry, smile until your face hurts, and so happy that you think you'll burst. But the ones who leave their footprints on your soul are the ones that keep your life going."
---Natalie Bernot

This says it all about Lindsey and her parents. Lindsey's mom, Cindy, and I use to work together, and we became lifelong friends. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding, my husband and I even went on the honeymoon!!!!! I was there the day Cindy and Keith first saw their sweet baby girl they had just adopted. Lindsey and my son, C.J., have the same birthday. Their footprints have been left on my soul and I am blessed to have them in my life.

Bowman Family Reunion

Family reunions are so much fun, even when it's not my family!!! A friend and fellow teacher asked me to take pictures at her family reunion. It was at her mother's house in Pell City. The setting was so beautiful, apple trees, pear trees, berries, a lake....just perfect. And the sweetest family ever! One sweet elderly man came up to me and said, "I don't believe I know you." Of course I thought about telling him I was Aunt Sara's oldest daughter from her first husband. But I told him I wasn't kin, just the photographer for the day, but everyone made me feel like I was a part of the family.

Cassie Senior Pictures

I didn't teach Cassie, but I did teach her step-brother and step-sister!!! Cassie is a beautiful young lady with a smile that wouldn't quit. She loves space, playing the trumpet, and Winnie the Pooh. We had fun playing in the water at Turkey Creek, we went to the railroad tracks, and finally ended up at the barn and the field. The rain held off until the last few shots.

Amanda Senior Pictures

Where does the time go? I remember Amanda when she was in my 4th grade class, smart as a whip, shy, with a smile that could light up the classroom. She's still the same, except she's not shy anymore. I love seeing former students and seeing the wonderful people they have become.
